João Guizardi
João Guizardi heads the Wealth Planning practice, bringing together technical sophistication, strategic judgment, and a thoughtful approach to highly sensitive family and wealth matters.
With extensive experience in civil law, particularly family and succession law, he advises individuals, business families, and asset-holding groups on legal structures designed to protect wealth, mitigate risk, prevent disputes, and preserve long-term legacies.
He represents clients in complex strategic disputes and in sensitive matters involving family conflicts, probate and estate proceedings, divorce, changes to marital property regimes, and broader estate and succession planning projects. He also has significant experience in asset and corporate reorganizations, the negotiation of family and shareholder arrangements, and the drafting of planning instruments such as wills, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, cohabitation agreements, and advance directives.
