Lucas specializes in both advisory and litigation matters involving international trade, intellectual property, and cross-border business, and is widely recognized for his deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and results-driven approach.  

 

In international trade, he represents clients in trade defense investigations, tariff modification requests, and provides comprehensive counsel on contracts, operations, and cross-border disputes. His distinguished background includes key roles at the Brazilian Mission to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, the General Coordination for Dispute Settlement at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a leading international law firm.  

 

In intellectual property, Lucas advises clients from a wide range of industries on the protection of intangible assets—including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets—negotiates development, licensing, and technology transfer agreements, and handles dispute resolution through both judicial and alternative mechanisms.
