Paulo Andrade
Paulo has extensive experience in contentious tax law, distinguishing himself through outstanding performance in both administrative and judicial proceedings, including representation before Brazil’s Superior Courts, with a particular focus on indirect taxation. His expertise encompasses providing strategic tax support to a diverse range of domestic and international companies, with notable experience in the mining, retail, and electric power sectors.
From 2012 to 2016, Paulo served as a taxpayer representative on the São Paulo Municipal Tax Council (CMT/SP), and from 2020 to 2023, he held the position of taxpayer judge at the Tax and Fees Court (TIT) of the São Paulo State Treasury Department. During this period, he handled major controversies involving the Tax on Services (ISS) and the Tax on the Circulation of Goods and Services (ICMS).
